Grooming Policies
Your pet is very important to us! We care about your pet's safety and well-being during his/her time with us so please note our updated grooming policies:
Vaccines: Proof of an up-to-date rabies vaccine must be provided by all clients. Vaccine records may be emailed to grooming@petagogy.com, or a physical rabies vaccine certificate may be brought in. Unfortunately, we cannot accept rabies tags as proof.
Health/Behavioral Concerns: Pre-existing conditions may arise during grooming that are not known about. Some examples are skin allergies, moles, clipper sensitivity, matting, fleas, fear aggression, behavioral issues, sore joints, heart conditions and seizures. It is important for clients to inform your groomer of any known health or behavioral concerns before the appointment. This ensures that our groomers can give your pet the safest experience possible. Our groomers may not be able to work through some behavioral/aggression issues, resulting in an incomplete groom. Please understand that if our groomers feel as though it is not safe to continue the groom, you will still be notified and charged for the services that were able to be completed. You may be charged a special handling fee if your pet is difficult to groom or requires additional help during the appointment.
Late/Cancelation Policy: Late arrivals can shift our entire schedule, which can affect clients who are scheduled after your appointment. If you are late by 15 minutes or more, you may be asked to reschedule. If we are still able to accommodate you, a late fee will be added to the appointment total. As a courtesy to our groomers, please try to give us at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. A credit card will now be required to keep on file. If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay 100% of the services you were scheduled for. If more than one appointment is missed, you may be asked to not reschedule. If you are unable to pick up your pet up within an hour after the estimated time their groom will be completed, you may be charged a late pickup fee.
